Next weekend on Saturday Sept. 22ndwe will be playing with our buddies The McCoy Tyler Band at JJ’s saloon in Soquel and then (relatively) early the next morning at 11 AM at the storied Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley. Come get brunch and enjoy an acoustic performance.

On Sept. 28th and 29th, we are very excited to be performing for the first time at Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz as a part of “The Wheel Co. Presents: A Tribute to Bob Dylan.” We will be performing a song each night.

On that same weekend we will be at the Davenport Roadhouse on Sept. 29th and 30th playing some rock and roll in celebration of Octoberfest.

Looking a little further ahead we have some other cool things happening;

We’re having a great summer and it ain’t over yet. We’re still buzzing from our foray to Alaska. Holy Toledo did we have a great time! Thank you to everyone at Salmonstock in Ninilchick, Alice’s Champagne Palace in Homer and everywhere else we went in that little beauty of a state for making it such an unforgettable week. We’re working on getting some pictures and videos up from our trip in the very near future. In the meantime, we’ve got some new videos kicking around the web from various things we’ve been up to this Summer.

We are getting very close to taking off for Alaska and Salmonstock, and it’s safe to say we’re pretty pumped. We’ve told you a little bit about this festival and who we will be sharing the stage with but it’s worth repeating, so here it is; Ozomatli, Robert Randolph Family Band, Todd Snider, Great American Taxi, Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon and Clinton Fearon will all be in attendance. We can’t freaking wait.

We’re looking forward to performing four (4!) times at Salmonstock. Here’s a closer look at our schedule for this weekend.

Friday Aug.3rd 9:00-10:30 PM, Oceanside Stage (Main Stage, followed by Ozomatli) 12:45-1:45 AM, Headwaters late night (indoors)

Saturday Aug.4th 6:55-7:35 PM, Inlet Stage (Acoustic)

Sunday Aug. 5th 1:30-2:20 PM, River Stage

Did I mention we’re excited?! We’re having a send off show at the Crow’s Nest in Santa Cruz at their weekly beach party event this Thursday August 2nd. We’ll be upstairs and starting at 8:30 PM. We will definitely need some warm Santa Cruz lovin’ before we embark northward, so come on out.

Quickly, we’ve added a couple local shows that should be a lot of fun. We’ll be at Don Quixote’s opening for our friends The McCoy Tyler Band at their CD release party on August 16th. We will also be returning to Scotts Valley’s music in the park series at Skypark on Sunday afternoon August 26th. Looking forward to both of these.

See you in Alaska!
