2015: The Year of Moe’s Alley

On a Sunday night in May of 2011, just a month before the release of our self-titled debut album, we took the stage at Moe’s Alley for the first time. On October 16th we will be back at Moe’s Alley, for what we believe to be our 12th time, playing on a newer bigger stage, through a newer bigger sound system, to a bigger crowd (we hope) on a night that is NOT a Sunday (turns out people go out more on Friday’s. How were we to know?)

The Soft White Sixties, from San Francisco, will be joining us for this night and they will just add to the growing list of great bands that we’ve shared the stage with at Moe’s. In 2015 alone we’ve played with Mike Campbell and The Dirty Knobs, our long time best band friends, The McCoy Tyler Band, our new best band friends, Hot Buttered Rum, and the guys who brought us to the Fillmore, Poor Man’s Whiskey. Other bands we’ve shared the stage with at Moe’s include The Mother Hips, The McCoy Tyler Band, Pegi Young & the Survivors, Dead Winter Carpenters,  Junk Parlor, The McCoy Tyler Band, Spurs, Buster Blue, and last but not least, The McCoy Tyler Band.

The bands have changed, the stage has changed, we’ve changed, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is that we always have a great time at Moe’s Alley. Join us Friday, October 16th 2015 at Moe’s Alley with The Soft White Sixties opening.

PS October 16th may or may not be a birthday of one of the Coffis Brothers, and we may or may not be celebrating such birthday that night. Come find out on the 16th.
