We are often asked what our dream venue to play would be, and although answers have varied over the years, the consensus answer has been The Fillmore in San Francisco. In one week we’ll have to come up with a new response because we’ll have played our dream venue.

On November 28th (Black Friday) we will be opening for Jackie Greene for the first of his two night run at The Fillmore. This will be our first time stepping on the Fillmore stage where we will be playing an acoustic set ahead of one of our favorite musicians in Jackie Greene. If just playing the Fillmore wasn’t enough, having the opportunity once again open for Jackie Greene just makes it that much more special. We are HUGE fans of Jackie and this will mark the fourth time we have opened for him this year, which is like…very cool for us. Tickets are still available but won’t be for long. Grab your tickets while you still can.

In other exciting news, we will be taking a note from Jackie and will be playing two nights of our own at Don Quixote’s in Felton on January 9th and 10th of 2015. We are very excited to be coming back to our home turf and we have some great bands playing with us each night. Mark your calendars and look for more information coming soon.

As young children we grew up listening to music by artists such as The Beatles, Ray Charles, Buddy Holly, Elvis, and of course The Everly Brothers. In those same years we experienced being on stage for our first times, often at The Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz when we would join our mom for her children’s music shows. So it will be a bit nostalgic on September 27th when we make our headlining debut at The Kuumbwa to perform a Tribute to The Everly Brothers.

The Everly Brothers have been a major influence on us, probably even more so than we know, and to have the opportunity to play a full set of their songs is very exciting for us. We’ve been Everly Brothers fans our whole lives but in the past few months we have really been digging into their catalogue, finding songs that we forgot about and songs that we hadn’t heard before. We’ve already had a lot of fun learning, rehearsing, and rearranging these tunes and we hope you’ll be there to hear them on September 27th in Santa Cruz for our Tribute to The Everly Brothers.

A Tribute to The Everly Brothers

We’re hitting the road for our longest tour to date. We are very excited to be returning to cities and festivals we’ve played in the past, as well as venturing to lands that we haven’t yet reached.

Our tour kicks off on July 17th in Nevada City for a two night run at the Crazy Horse Saloon which includes a night with our good friends The McCoy Tyler Band (Friday, July 18th.)

Some of the highlights include The Oyster Ridge Music Festival in Kemmerer, Wyoming, and Salmonstock in Ninilchik, Alaska. Headliners at Salmonstock include Lucinda Williams, Hard Working Americans, and Ozomatli.

We are extremely excited to be returning to both Salmonstock, Oyster Grass, and Salt Lake City but we are also very much looking forward to playing in Nevada City, Reno, Jackson Hole, and Seattle for our first time.

Take a look at our calendar and see if we’re coming to a town near you or a friend. Help us spread the word and we hope to see you out on the Wrong Side of the Road.
