We are very excited to announce the release of our new album, Wrong Side of The Road. We will be releasing the album on February 22nd at Don Quixote’s in Felton.
Recorded at Gadgetbox Studios in Santa Cruz over the course of 2013, Wrong Side of The Road is our second full length album. Stay tuned for new shows and updates regarding the album.
Happy New Year! We know 2014 will start flying by so before we get too far into it we want to take one last chance to thank you all for making 2013 such a memorable and successful year. In 2013 we played more shows than we’ve ever played, we traveled more than we had ever traveled, we recorded a new album, and we met and made new friends and fans. Thank you everyone who supported our music in any way shape or form in 2013.
But enough with 2013, let’s get to 2014. We’re very excited to be playing at two of our favorite Bay Area venues this week. On Wednesday January 8th we will be back in San Francisco at The Boom Boom Room (http://www.boomboomblues.com/) and on Saturday January 11th we will be returning to Redwood City to play at Club Fox (http://www.clubfoxrwc.com/). Club Fox was one of the first venues we ever played at and we haven’t played there since 2011 so we are very glad to be back there. We will be sharing the stage with our friend Garrick Davis with The Fabulous Funky Band, who will be releasing a new album. Further ahead we are happy to finally announce the release of our own new album, Wrong Side of The Road. We can’t wait to share this album with you all and we hope you can join us for our release concert at Don Quixote’s on February 22nd!
It’s hard to believe that 2013 is almost over, but this was a year that we won’t soon forget. 2013 was a landmark year in our relatively young career. We traveled far and wide playing in 8 states, we bought our first band van, we subsequently ran out of gas in the middle of Oregon in that same van, we recorded our second album, we asked you all to give us money to make that album (and you did!) In the end this was an unbelievably fun year for us and we will never forget it. But wait… it’s not done yet! Check out the remaining shows we have in 2013 including some Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and New Years Eve at First Night Monterey.
Don’t be too sad that 2013 is ending though, because we will be starting 2014 back at home at Don Quixote’s on January 3rd with our good friends, The McCoy Tyler Band.
